This project focuses on the value of everyday scenes and moments that exist directly in front of us, aiming to encourage a renewed awareness of them. In contemporary life, people often become absorbed in screens and headphones, causing. them to overlook real-life experiences and subtle sounds. This project considers such ordinary movements and sounds as essential elements of reality.
The design process was informed by research, particularly through sublimation prints inspired by the depth and contrast of film photography, translated onto textile surfaces. The overall aesthetic combines elements of contemporary photography with the geometric forms and bold colors of the Bauhaus, creating a modern yet retro visual language. By integrating embroidery with print, the work achieves a layered expression with both visual and conceptual depth.
In addition, collaboration with a Belgian illustrator expanded the design possibilities by merging drawing with embroidery. Ultimately, this collection seeks to reconnect contemporary audiences with sensory, tangible experiences in everyday life.
